The original Phoenix decks had faded by the time Faithless Looting got banned as the meta had become unkind to it. People like Phoenix decks, so they're always desperate for them to return every time a potential new enabler is released, but I'd be cautious of the deck actually being good. That kind of hate is low right now as graveyard decks have generally been on a downer in Modern, but it won't stay that way if they return. One of the strengths of the original Phoenix decks was you could still win through Surgical Extraction, Leyline of the Void, Rest in Peace as you had a diversity of threats, there's none of that in the current shells, they're near all in on the graveyard. The current shells of the deck are incredibly weak to graveyard hate, much more so than the original Phoenix decks. Personally I think the jury is still out on these decks having any staying power, so I would have no problem selling into the spike. Lots of people have the rest of the expensive cards in the deck from those shells and only need Demilich and a few new commons and uncommons to complete the deck, hence the spike in Demilich.
